Pantheon International announces valuation gain in July

Pantheon International PLC (LSE:PIN) has reported a rise in valuation in a monthly update on July’s performance.

During July, valuation gains added 2.2p to the London-listed investment firm’s net asset value (NAV) per share, while investment income contributed 0.1p.

Though these were up collectively by 0.5%, foreign exchange movements, alongside taxes and expenses offset the gains.

Overall, the FTSE 250-listed firm’s NAV per share dropped by 2.4p to 452.5p, marking a decline of 0.5% on May.

Pantheon’s NAV remained unchanged at £2.4 billion meanwhile, with total five-year shareholder returns climbing from 26% to 29% month on month.

A share buyback programme announced this month is already underway, Pantheon continued, as part of a £200 million commitment to acquire its own shares.

“Pantheon International will continue to make new investments alongside buybacks,” the company added.
