Wishpond Technologies Ltd. (TSX-V:WISH, OTCQX:WPNDF) expects to see its revenue growth ramp up in the second half of the year after the marketing solutions provider reported strong second quarter financial results.
The company’s CEO Ali Tajskandar told Proactive that the company is set to see revenue growth stemming from its flagship marketing automation platform Propel IQ.
“The second half of the year traditionally is the hottest time for us in terms of revenue growth, but especially this year as we put a lot of effort into Propel IQ sales channels,” Tajskandar said.
He said the company has focused its sales team members on its all-in-one product set rather than point solutions sales which results in a better retention rate and in turn, improved margins for Wishpond.
In the second half of the year, the company also expects to benefit from the launch of its new SalesCloser AI offering, an artificial intelligence-powered sales assistant, and the upcoming rollout of other AI-powered marketing tools Wishpond has been developing.
Tajskandar explained that SalesCloser AI can autonomously carry out a sales call, including discovery, finding out a customer’s pain points, a demonstration, and closing.
“It has the potential to disrupt the sales industry as a whole in substantial ways,” he said.
For Wishpond, it could enable the company to scale in different areas by facilitating sales calls in different languages or across time zones.
“If you think about the potential it creates for us in the industry in terms of getting new clients using this product, it’s a massive, massive opportunity,” Tajskandar said.
Vancouver, British Columbia-based Wishpond provides marketing-focused online business solutions.
