Malvern International PLC (AIM:MLVN) shares jumped almost 14% higher in early trade after the global learning and skills development company said it expects to report a return to profit for the first half.
Revenues in six months to 30 June 2023 came in at £4.8 million, more than double the £2.3 million recorded in the same period last year, Malvern said in a trading update.
It attributed the improved performance to strong student intakes in its University Pathways business and a 40% rise in English language teaching.
Shares were 13.89% higher at 20.50p.
