Abercrombie & Fitch investors hope recent analyst revisions mean an earnings beat is due Wednesday

Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF) is slated to report earnings before the opening bell Wednesday, and if recent analyst revisions are any indication, a beat could be on the way.

The Street projects earnings of $0.17 per share on revenue of $842.4 million, compared to a loss of $0.33 per share on revenue of $805.1 million.

Notably, the company’s EPS estimates have seen seen five upward revisions compared to one downward revision over the past three months, according to reports. That’s a good sign.

Case in point, the Zacks Earnings Expected Surprise Prediction is 12%.

Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE:ANF) shares declined 1.4% Tuesday to $41.17.
