Pathfinder Minerals (AIM:PFP) PLC were marked 9% higher after the appointment of a new director.
Paul Barrett, a geologist with significant commercial and engineering expertise, has been appointed as an executive director.
He currently holds director roles at Southwind Corporation and OK Energy and was the former CEO of Europa Oil & Gas.
At the same time, Dennis Edmonds, the non-executive chairman, is stepping down.
Pathfinder's board now consists of Barrett and Mark Gasson.
The stock was up 0.05p at 0.6p in morning trade.
