Shares of Danish jewellery manufacturer Pandora surged by 2.7% in early trading following the company's announcement of an upward revision to its full-year revenue forecast.
Its second-quarter sales surpassed analysts' predictions, registering 5.9 billion Danish crowns (US$864 million), up from 5.7 billion crowns the previous year. This performance exceeded consensus forecasts of 5.7 billion crowns.
Chief executive Alexander Lacik expressed satisfaction with the robust quarterly results, especially given the prevailing macroeconomic challenges.
Highlighting the company's consistent performance, Lacik anticipates another year of positive organic growth.
Pandora's revised projections now anticipate organic sales growth of 2% to 5%, a notable increase from the previous estimate of -2% to 3%.
