Galileo Mining open to new international audience

Galileo Mining Ltd (ASX:GAL, OTC:GLMGF) reports that in a bid to gain greater visibility and market exposure its ordinary shares have begun trading on the United States’ over-the-counter market (OTCQX) under the ticker symbol GALMF.

The OTCQX Market provides convenience and real-time accessibility to US investors, brokers and institutions seeking to trade Galileo shares. The OTCQX Best Market is the premier market of OTC Markets Group Inc, an operator of regulated markets on which 12,000 US and international securities trade.

"Market exposure"

Galileo managing director Brad Underwood said: “As part of our ongoing strategy to introduce Galileo Mining to a broader international audience, trading on OTCQX will provide greater visibility and market exposure, better access to the US investment community and improved convenience of trading in Galileo ordinary shares.

"With Galileo’s focus on the discovery of nickel, platinum group elements (PGEs), copper and cobalt we are now better placed to attract the interest of US investors seeking exposure to the critical metals needed to support the development of low carbon future technologies.”

About Galileo

Perth-based Galileo is focused on the exploration and development of palladium, nickel, copper and cobalt resources in Western Australia. Its tenements near Norseman are highly prospective for palladium-copper-nickel sulphide deposits as shown by the company’s Callisto discovery.

In addition to its Norseman project, Galileo has joint ventures with the Creasy Group over tenements in the Fraser Range which are prospective for nickel-copper sulphide deposits, similar to the operating Nova mine.

US investors can find current financial disclosure and real-time Level 2 quotes for the company on https://www.otcmarkets.com/stock/GALMF/overview.

Galileo confirms that there are no changes to the trading of the company’s ordinary shares on the ASX under the symbol GAL.
