Santacruz Silver Mining Ltd (TSX-V:SCZ, OTC:SZSMF) has announced that Carlos Silva Ramos is stepping down from his role as CEO and director of the company for personal reasons, effective immediately.
The company said that executive chairman Arturo Préstamo has become its interim CEO as it commences its search for a new chief executive.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Carlos for his years of service to Santacruz," interim CEO Préstamo said in a statement.
"He has been an integral part of the company's growth into a multi-asset producer. We wish him all the best."
Santacruz Silver is engaged in the operation, acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties in Latin America.
