Highfield Resources Ltd (ASX:HFR) has announced the passing of its non-executive director and board committee member Brian Jamieson, describing him as an exceptional person who made significant contributions to the company.
Jamieson joined the board in May 2018 and was generous with his knowledge and valuable insights into the advisory, manufacturing, resources and technology industries gained over a five-decade leadership and directorial career, both in Australia and offshore.
Highfield will announce a replacement director in the coming weeks.

"I feel greatly privileged to have had the opportunity to work with Brian,” Highfield chairman of the board Paul Harris said in a brief statement.
“He was an exceptional person, and his wisdom, passion and intellect will be greatly missed.
“On behalf of everyone at Highfield, I extend our deepest sympathy to his family for their loss.”
