The Bank of England forecast quarterly growth of just 0.1% between April and June, a quarter disrupted by the extra bank holiday for the coronation.
US wholesale price inflation numbers will bring the curtain down on the week. They have been a reliable lead indicator for consumer prices and are seen falling to around 2.1% in July from 2.4% in June.

In company news, a quiet day sees only insurance firm Beazley PLC (LSE:BEZ) report interims.
Claiming it was confident in achieving full-year guidance when it updated in May, the group said they were taking advantage of continuing marketing conditions, which investors hope can be echoed on Friday.
Having announced the planned departure of chief finance officer Sally Lake next year, the group's board will now conduct a search for a successor, with the firm's earning call likely to be littered with questions on who will be in the hot seat to takeover.
