Québec Nickel Corp (CSE:QNI, OTCQB:QNICF) told investors it has now resumed drilling the Fortin Sill nickel-copper-platinum zone at the Ducros project.
“Although we are excited to get back to work, we wouldn’t be able to do so without the tireless efforts of the firefighters, first responders and local community members who fought the fires this summer,” Québec Nickel interim chief executive Richard Dufresne said in a statement.
“We’d like to extend our sincere appreciation and gratitude to everyone that helped make our return to work possible.”
As previously reported, an emergency order from the Québec Ministry of Natural Resources and Forests prohibited access to lands in the province impacted by forest fires, triggering a temporary suspension of all field-based exploration activities.
