Caledonia Mining Corporation PLC (AIM:CMCL, NYSE-A:CMCL) has reported a fatality at the Blanket Mine in Zimbabwe following an accident on 7 August.
An employee of GMG - a company contracted to Blanket Mine - died of injuries related to the maintenance of trackless equipment.
Further details cannot be released pending the outcome of an enquiry into this accident by the relevant authorities, said the miner.
Caledonia expressed its condolences to the family and colleagues of the deceased.
