Ondo InsurTech PLC (LSE:ONDO), the London-listed provider of home insurance claims prevention technology, has announced a strategic partnership with US-based PURE Insurance aimed to enhance risk management and reduce preventable claims for PURE's policyholders.
PURE Insurance, a property and casualty insurance firm “designed exclusively for successful, responsible families”, has been in operation for over 15 years.
The company, known for its transparency and alignment of interests, serves a membership base of more than 100,000 across the US.
Under the partnership, PURE will pilot a program to distribute Ondo's LeakBot system to select members in certain states.
LeakBot is designed to detect small leaks before they escalate into significant claims, a move that Jason Metzger, head of risk management at PURE Insurance, believes will allow members to play a more proactive role in loss prevention.
"We're placing a greater emphasis on risk management and working hard to find solutions that can aid in reducing the occurrence of preventable claims for our membership - like those relating to water damage," Metzger said.
“Technologies like LeakBot allow our members to play an even greater role in loss prevention by identifying small leaks before they turn into large claims."
