New York Times subscriber numbers will be under the microscope on Tuesday

The New York Times Company (NYSE:NYT)’s quarterly print will be fit to print Tuesday morning when the company reports its second-quarter results before the market opens.

Analysts are expecting revenue of $580.53 million and earnings of $0.21 per share. That compares to $555.68 million and $0.37 per share in the second quarter of 2022.

Digital subscribers will be a key number to watch. In the first quarter, The NYT added 190,000 digital subscribers during the first quarter, down from 240,000 in the comparable quarter a year earlier.

Shares of the NYT Company added 1.3% Monday to $40.82.
