De La Rue announces new interim chief financial officer

De La Rue PLC (LSE:DLAR) has announced the appointment of Dean Moore as its interim chief financial officer.

Moore will replace Charles Andrews, who is currently in the role on an interim basis after joining in April, the London-listed company said on Friday.

“The company wishes to thank Charles for his professionalism and diligence while at De La Rue,” the statement continued.

“He has successfully completed the reporting of full-year results […] and contributed to the new arrangements between the company and its lenders and pension scheme.”

Moore will become an executive director as a result of the move, while continuing with his current duties as a non-executive on the company’s board in its audit, ethics, nomination and remuneration committees.

He also holds a host of independent roles, including at Cineworld Group PLC (LSE:CINE), Griffin Mining Ltd, THG PLC (LSE:THG) and Volex PLC (AIM:VLX).

A search for a full-time chief financial officer will likely take place over the coming months, meanwhile, the currency security solutions firm added.
