Belvoir Group PLC (AIM:BLV), the property franchise and financial services group, is trading "comfortably" in line with management's expectations for the year, investors were told in a market update.
Despite challenging market conditions in the first half, the group achieved a 3% revenue increase compared to the same period in 2022.
Growth was fuelled by both property franchise and financial services adviser networks. Management Service Fees (MSF), a core revenue from property franchise networks, rose 4%, with an 8% boost in lettings offsetting a 9% dip in property sales.
Revenue in the Financial Services division climbed 11%, exceeding initial forecasts for the start of the year.
Belvoir's expansion included a £1.1 million acquisition on 6 June, adding 21 advisers to its financial services network. Supported by a net cash balance of £0.4 million, the group maintained a robust financial footing, paving the way for future growth opportunities.
"Our tried-and-tested franchise business model, the diversity of our income streams, the recurring nature of our lettings revenue and our successful acquisition strategy, both at franchisee and corporate level, have enabled the group to meet and overcome the challenges currently facing the property sector," said chief executive Dorian Gonsalves.
