Multiverse, the rapidly growing online education business set up by former British prime minister Tony Blair’s son Euan is moving into new premises in London as part of its expansion plans.
One of the UK’s brightest tech unicorns (worth more than £1 billion), Multiverse uses software to match apprentices with companies to learn work skills without having to go to university.
Multiverse estimates it has trained more than 10,000 professional apprentices in partnership with employers and became a “unicorn” after a funding round last year valued it at £1.36 billion.
The new office is in Paddington in a WeWork building where Multiverse will have its own private office floors but also access to amenities elsewhere in the building, according to the Standard.
Libby Dangoor, chief of staff at Multiverse, told the paper that a hybrid approach would allow staff the freedom to work on their own terms with the value of in-person collaboration and a great office environment.
