Astral Resources NL (ASX:AAR) MD Marc Ducler speaks with Proactive soon after announcing the company has raised $3 million in a strongly supported placement. He touches on the highlights from its June quarter which include an updated resource estimate of 37 million tonnes at 1.1 grams per tonne for 1.27 million ounces of contained gold at the flagship Mandilla project. A scoping study for the project is on track to be released later this year which he says is likely to be a ‘transformational outcome’ for the company.
