Touchstone Exploration Inc (AIM:TXP, TSX:TXP, OTC:PBEGF) is on the verge of a major uptick in production as it enters the final countdown to the start-up of the Cascadura field in Trinidad.
The company, in a statement, said the newly built Cascadura facility was mechanically complete on Sunday 30 July, pressure testing was 70% complete and the electrical and instrumentation connections to the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago pipeline were being completed.
"Touchstone is working diligently to complete the commissioning of the facility and we are eager to commence first production,” said Touchstone chief executive Paul Baay.
“We continually strive to meet or exceed all industry regulations and guidelines and our adherence to the highest health and safety standards will continue to guide us through the completion of the facility."
Prior to introducing gas into the system, Touchstone is this week scheduling the final inspection of the Ministry of Energy and Energy Industries (MEEI) which previously completed its initial inspection on 20 July.
Elsewhere, at the Royston-1X well, production testing is continuing and the company said it will update the market once the tests have concluded.
