Inspecs Group PLC shares climbed 8% on Friday following an upbeat trading update from the sunglasses maker.
The company expressed confidence in meeting market expectations over the full year, after revenue jumped 6% to £111mln and net debt fell by £5mln to £22.6mln in the six months to June.
“I am pleased that the positive momentum that we experienced in the first quarter continued into the second,” chief executive Richard Peck said.
“All of the group's major markets have performed consistently,” he added, with the company set to provide full interim results in September.
Shares rose 8% as the market opened on Friday, peaking at 126.95p before slipping back to 120.50p – a rise of 2.6%.
