YouGov PLC (AIM:YOU) has confirmed the shake-up of its board as the integration of newly acquired GfK gets underway.
Former Facebook director Steve Hatch will join the AIM-listed data analytics group as chief executive officer on 1 August.
Sundip Chahal will move from being the company’s chief operating officer to chief business officer to focus on the planned integration of market research business Gfk, bought in early July.
Lynda Vivian, who has been at the company for 15 years, will become chief operating officer, with TSB Bank chairman Nick Prettejohn replacing Rosemary Leith as YouGov’s senior independent director.
“With the right board and executive team now in place and the transformative acquisition of GfK's consumer panel business in planning stage, I am excited by what we can achieve in the next phase of our strategic growth plan,” non-executive chair Stephan Shakespeare said.
Hatch takes up the chief executive position from Shakespeare, who in line with YouGov's succession plan is replacing outgoing chair Roger Parry.
