Kodiak Copper shares assay results from 3 drill holes at the West Zone on the MPD Project

Kodiak Copper CEO Claudia Tornquist joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share exciting news about the company's latest assay results from its fully funded drill program at the West Zone on the MPD Project. Tornquist revealed that the drilling at the West Zone has confirmed porphyry mineralization from surface over an impressive area of 300 meters by 300 meters and extending to a depth of up to 819 meters.

These results demonstrate that the mineralization extends well below historic drilling and remains open for further exploration. Furthermore, the company has made some significant discoveries during the drilling process. They have identified a new zone of structurally hosted high-grade copper-gold-silver mineralization to the east of the West Zone. Additionally, Kodiak Copper has encountered mineralized hydrothermal breccia during the drill, a notable first for the MPD project. The presence of copper mineralized clasts in the breccia suggests the potential for additional undrilled mineralization at deeper levels. The best drill hole reported was AXE-23-001, which intersected significant mineralization from bedrock surface to 539 meters depth.

The assay results for this hole include 0.28% copper, 0.28 grams per tonne gold, and 0.83 grams per tonne silver over 158 meters, within a broader interval of 0.18% copper, 0.20 grams per tonne gold, and 0.61 grams per tonne silver over 533 meters. These assay results indicate the presence of substantial copper, gold, and silver mineralization in the West Zone and further highlight the potential of the MPD Project. Kodiak Copper's ongoing exploration efforts and discoveries suggest promising prospects for the company's future growth and development in the mining sector.
