G2 Energy Corp (CSE:GTOO, OTC:GTGEF) announced that it has appointed Oilwell Operators Inc to be the Operator on Record of G2’s cornerstone producing asset, the Masten Unit in Cochran County, Texas.
The junior oil and gas producer said Oilwell Operators has been registered as such, with the Railway Commission, until the license can be officially transferred to G2 Energy.
"The Oilwell Operators team has already made an immediate impact on our production in the last 24 hours," G2 Energy CEO Slawek Smulewicz said in a statement.
“The benefits of working with an experienced team like Oilwell Operators are significant in terms of fast-tracking production increases and on the ground assistance with the identification of future local opportunities," he added.
Oilwell Operators is a fourth-generation Texas-based oil and gas upstream firm that has operated thousands of wells throughout Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas, according to the company.
G2 Energy is a junior oil and gas producer focused on acquiring and developing additional overlooked, low-risk, high-return opportunities in the oil and gas sector.
