Gamelancer Media Corp. (TSX:GMNG, OTCQB:GAMGF) has finalized a joint venture agreement with women's lifestyle and beauty company 10 PM Curfew, the company announced.
The collaboration is intended to give each company unique access to the other’s audience and inventory.
Gamelancer’s gaming network is the largest on TikTik about 80% male, whereas 10 PM Curfew is the largest female lifestyle social publisher on the platform, according to a statement. Combined, the companies have an audience of 92 million followers and more than 4 billion monthly views across their social media platforms.
The partners will split the revenue from activation campaigns 70/30 depending on which network, Gamelancer or 10 PM Curfew, the campaign is executed on.
The plan is to introduce intellectual property, podcasts, original series, e-commerce, and apps to drive additional monetization and revenue growth, according to a statement.
The company pointed to a sales commentary published by Echelon in April, which “conservatively” appraised followers as worth between $5 and $7.50 each. That means a network of 92 million has a value of between C$460 million to C$690 million.
"At Gamelancer and 10 PM Curfew, our deep understanding of target audiences enables us to create digital content that truly resonates, excites, and engages the audiences across our network," 10 PM Curfew Co-CEO Darren Lopes said in a statement. "We recognize the importance of authenticity in today's digital landscape, which is why we leverage the abilities of content creators and influencers to establish a more genuine connection with our target demographics.”
