Beeks Financial jumps after winning contract with large UK bank

Shares in Beeks Financial Cloud Group PLC (AIM:BKS) jumped well over 6% on Monday morning as the technology firm announced new contracts, including with “one of the UK's largest banks”.

Totalling over US$4mln, the contracts relate to Beeks’ cloud-based infrastructure-as-a-Service model which helps firms connect to exchanges and trading platforms.

“With a growing number of the world's largest financial institutions as customers, recognition of the value of our cloud offerings is increasing,” boss Gordon McArthur commented.

Having previously signed with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange in June, Beeks reassured on revenue visibility heading into 2024, with new contracts potentially being “transformational for the company”.

Shares jumped 6.4% to 108.5p on the news.
