Plurilock Security launches beta access to its revolutionary AI safety product, PromptGuard

Plurilock Security Inc. (TSX-V:PLUR) has launched beta access to its revolutionary AI safety Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) product, PromptGuard.

The new offering will be integrated into the Plurilock AI platform and aims to address the escalating concerns over generative artificial intelligence (AI) use in business and government sectors.

PromptGuard, a cutting-edge AI-driven cloud access security broker (CASB), is designed to enable employees to utilize AI technologies securely without the risk of compromising sensitive data. As generative AI becomes increasingly prevalent in workplaces, organizations have been seeking a solution to prevent the inadvertent exposure of confidential, proprietary, or regulated data to AI platforms.

"The Canadian Centre for Cybersecurity recognizes the risks of generative AI and has recently published a guidance report on this subject," said Ian L. Paterson, CEO of Plurilock in a statement. "PromptGuard was developed with the aim of mitigating these threats and providing strong AI guardrails while ensuring seamless AI use for employees."

PromptGuard employs a combination of mature data loss prevention technology and Plurilock's proprietary AI platform technology to ensure AI systems do not receive sensitive data through user-generated AI prompts. Importantly, users need not be aware of any anonymization or redaction processes taking place, facilitating a user-friendly experience while protecting data privacy and security.

The product's development was informed by insights gathered from Plurilock's extensive client network, established through acquisitions of various cybersecurity solution providers. Utilizing Plurilock's new CASB technology for AI, which is the subject of a US provisional patent filing, PromptGuard represents a significant step towards enhancing generative AI safety.

Under Plurilock's early access program (EAP), PromptGuard is currently available as a closed, by-invitation beta experience. Businesses and government organizations can request an invitation to join the beta experience through the company's website.

"We are excited to launch early access to PromptGuard," added Paterson. "Enterprises have a significant and urgent need for this technology, which will help to restore their ability to manage and protect sensitive data without eliminating the significant productivity gains that their employees have seen with generative AI use."

With Plurilock's patented AI and real-time identity confirmation technology, the Plurilock AI platform enables zero-trust architecture and identity threat detection and response capabilities, making it a crucial tool for regulated organizations with remote workforces. Through its Solutions Division, Plurilock provides world-class IT services and products that ensure secure remote work environments for teams across North America and beyond.
