Tambourah Metals announces Chilean Lithium Producer SQM will partner on Julimar Nth projects

Tambourah Metals announces Chilean Lithium Producer SQM will partner on Julimar Nth projects

Tambourah Metals Executive Chairperson Rita Brooks joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share significant news about the company's agreement with Sociedad Quimica y Minera de Chile S.A. (SQM), a Chilean lithium producer. Tambourah Metals has granted SQM an exploration earn-in opportunity across six of its Julimar Nth projects in Western Australia. Brooks informed Proactive that SQM has been given the right to earn an initial 50% interest, with the potential to acquire up to 70% of all mineral rights at the Julimar Nth project. This will be achieved through sole funding of a minimum of 1.5 million Australian Dollars and up to 3 million for exploration and development activities.

Brooks also highlighted SQM's status as one of the world's leading lithium producers, with significant assets in Australia. SQM holds a 50% joint venture interest in the Mt. Holland Lithium Project, along with other lithium-related investments and early-stage exploration activities. The agreement with SQM represents a significant development for Tambourah Metals, as it brings a well-established lithium producer on board to explore and potentially develop the Julimar Nth projects. SQM's expertise and resources in lithium production and exploration are expected to enhance the exploration and development activities of Tambourah Metals. With the global demand for lithium increasing due to its crucial role in battery technologies and clean energy solutions, this agreement positions Tambourah Metals and SQM to potentially tap into the growing market and contribute to the lithium supply chain. The partnership between the two companies opens up exciting opportunities for the development of the Julimar Nth projects and reinforces Tambourah Metals' commitment to unlocking the potential of its assets.
