Hapbee Technologies Inc (TSX-V:HAPB, OTCQB:HAPBF) said its wearable wellness technology has been awarded a Nexus Certification by Grey Team, recognizing it as an effective tool in suicide prevention for United States military community members.
Grey Team, a privately funded non-profit group focused on improving the health and wellness of active-duty soldiers and military veterans to prevent suicide, has been using Hapbee Neckbands and Smart Sleep Pads as part of its Operation Phoenix program for nearly two years.
Hapbee said Grey Team’s Nexus Award represents one of the United States’ most rigorous, in-field certifications for cutting-edge wellness solutions.
"This recognition from Grey Team is among the most gratifying confirmation of the mission we are on at Hapbee to improve people's lives – especially members of our military who have given everything in support of our freedom," Hapbee CEO Yona Shtern said.
"We plan to proudly display the Nexus certification on all our products moving forward. There are roughly 19 million veterans in the United States alone, and we intend to continue to develop working relationships with Grey Team and other public and private veteran support organizations to help as many veterans as we can."
Grey Team’s Operation Phoenix has used Hapbee’s devices to alleviate mental and physical suffering caused by post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injuries, chronic physical pain, and lifestyle choices, according to Hapbee.
Hapbee’s devices allow for the digital delivery of ultra-low frequency electromagnetic biostreams derived from compounds like caffeine, nicotine, and melatonin without the side effects or dependencies that might otherwise result from ingesting the substances to help users optimize their sleep, performance, and mood.
