Liquid Death beverage company taps Goldman Sachs for IPO

Liquid Death, a canned water company with the tagline ‘murder your thirst’, has hired Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) for a potential initial public offering (IPO) as soon as the spring of 2024, The Information.com reported late Wednesday.

According to Liquid Death board member Peter Pham, the Millennial and Gen Z targeted beverage brand was valued at $700 million in a $70 million financing round led by Science Ventures last year.

Pham noted that Liquid Death projected $130 million in revenue in 2022, up from $45 million in 2021, and was on pace to double that amount in 2023.

Liquid Death has become a cult favorite for Gen Z water connoisseurs as its TikTok account is the most followed beverage brand in the US on the platform at 2.9 million followers, while its Instagram boasts 1.3 million followers, Bon Appétit magazine wrote in its online version.
