Mike Ashley and Frasers have continued their stake-building mission, this time increasing its holding in N Brown and Currys.
In a statement published on the London Stock Exchange, Fraser’s upped its holding in clothing and homeware retailer to over 18% from 17.6%.
Frasers also increased its stake in electrical goods group Currys to 11% from 10.4%.
Alongside Next, Frasers has been buying up legacy brands and building stakes in seemingly failing companies.
Last month, it bought 5% of shares in online retailer Boohoo, making it one of the AIM-listed company’s largest shareholders.
Frasers has also increased its stake in electrical retailer AO World in recent months, while also snapping up fashion brands Studio Retail and I Saw It First.
