Cloud DX (TSX-V:CDX, OTCQB:CDXFF) said St. Mary’s General Hospital (SMGH) located in Kitchener Ontario is increasing its deployment of Cloud DX (TSX-V:CDX, OTCQB:CDXFF)’s remote patient monitoring and services.
SMGH is a current Cloud DX customer and has deployed its Connected Health remote patient monitoring platform for cardiac patients and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients.
The company said the new contract for Connected Health kits and remote care monitoring patients will allow the hospital to support up to 500 additional patients annually and it is valued at $1.7 million over the full extended contract.
It will support current programs as well as potentially allow the hospital to expand or offer new remote care monitoring programs in the future, Cloud DX said.
The company also noted that this is the first new contract to be delivered under the previously announced procurement agreement with the non-profit shared services organization Mohawk Medbuy.
This contract is expected to fall under the $3 million award announced by Mohawk Medbuy for the first two Cloud DX contracts.
CEO Robert Kaul said Cloud DX was happy to grow its successful relationship with SMGH in its hometown of Kitchener.
