Live Company Group PLC (AIM:LVCG), the events group, has agreed on a deal with a streaming service to distribute footage from its upcoming K-Pop concert in Madrid later this month.
The deal is with Veeps Inc, an online site that streams live music performances, and will give the company rights to both live and pre-recorded footage from the Madrid event.
Footage from the concert will be distributed in all markets apart from Japan and South Korea.
Fans who missed out on tickets to the Madrid K-Pop event on 22 July can watch the stream for US$14.99 if pre-purchased or for US$19.99 if bought on the day.
Live Company will receive 90% of the net proceeds from the sale of these streams.
David Ciclitira, chairman of the event group, said: “We are excited to have partnered with Veeps to be able to offer a live stream of the KPOP LUX Madrid concert to K-pop fans around the world.
“We hope that this agreement will be the first of many to come.”
In late June, Live Company also announced a K-Pop event would be coming to London with tickets set to go on sale at some point in July.
