Caerus Mineral Resources PLC (LSE:CMRS)’s management said all the legacy issues it inherited are now behind the company and it is making meaningful progress on a new strategy focused on clean energy.
This includes its partnership with EV Metals and also its recent entry into Morocco through the acquisition of an 80% stake in a local exploration business.
Executive chairman Chris Lambert said: "2022 was a year of turmoil, though significant progress was made to stabilise the company.
"The company is now focused on developing excellent opportunities aligned with its clear strategy. Importantly, we are making meaningful progress."
Shares in Caerus were suspended due to the delay in releasing the latest annual report but the company said it has now applied to the FCA for the restoration of its listing.
