Active Energy Group PLC (AIM:AEG, OTCQB:ATGVF) (AEG) CEO Michael Rowan, COO Steve Schaar and CTO Barron Hewetson join Thomas Warner from Proactive London on the occasion of the biomass company's annual general meeting.
Rowan takes the chance to introduce Schaar and Hewetson who have both recently joined AEG from Enviva Biomass, the world's largest producer of wood pellets. AEG itself is in the process of bringing to market what it calls a next generation biomass pellet, CoalSwitch.
Rowan gives an overview of developments at the company over the last eighteen months, highlighting the current focus on bringing online its reference plant in Ashland, Maine.
He says the work being done there represents "another step forward." Schaar and Hewetson, who joined AEG in March and July respectively, go on to explain what they'll be prioritising in the coming months.
