SPC Nickel reports additional drill results from West Graham project

SPC Nickel Corp (TSX-V:SPC, OTC:SPCNF) has reported assay results from the last 11 drill holes from its Phase 1 drill program at the nickel-copper West Graham project in Sudbury, Ontario.

The company said, with the Phase 1 drill program finished, it has completed spaced drilling over a 300 metre (m) by 300 m area on the footprint of the historical resources which will support its planned mineral resource estimate update, expected by the end of 2023.

For the Phase 1 program, the company completed 5,338 m of drilling in 27 holes.

Highlights included an intercept of 2.48% nickel, 0.64% copper over 7.8 m in drill hole WG-23-26 and 1.71% nickel, 0.46% copper over 20 m in WG-23-42.

"The ongoing results from our drill program continue to support our positive outlook for the West Graham project,” SPC Nickel CEO Grant Mourre said.

“The Phase 1 program has achieved its goal of confirming and expanding the zone of nickel and copper mineralization a further 200 m to the west of the previously defined extent of the 2009 resource model. The work has also outlined areas of higher-than-expected grade within the contact-style deposit as well as discovering new high-grade footwall-style mineralization outside the historical resource.”

The company also highlighted that its Phase 2 drill program was underway with 3,696 m in 11 holes completed to date.

“Activities at West Graham are progressing as planned and we remain focused on working towards delivering a combined mineral resource estimate by the end of 2023,” Mourre added in a statement.

SPC Nickel is a Canadian public corporation focused on exploring for nickel, copper, and platinum group metals within the world-class Sudbury Mining Camp.
