Young & Co's Brewery said its current financial year had started well as it reaped the benefits from investing in its pubs.
In the first 13 weeks, revenues increased by 8.3% in total and saw a 6.8% rise on a like-for-like basis against the same period in 2022.
The growth was attributed to the enhanced returns from its premium estate, including acquisitions made last year and refurbishments of its existing venues.
The company has also recently bought the freehold interest in The Stag, in Belsize Park, London, and exchanged on three premium freehold properties in southern England.
"I am pleased to report that we have had a good start to the year, and we're already seeing benefits from our investment strategy," said Stephen Goodyear, chairman of Young & Co.
