Railtown AI Technologies Inc (CSE:RAIL) said it has achieved global go-to-market co-selling status with Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), a move that will accelerate the adoption of Railtown AI's AI-powered Co-Pilot products for software developers.
The milestone comes four months after the commercial launch of Railtown AI's proprietary AI products and signifies Microsoft's recognition of the products' qualification to be sold independently or alongside Microsoft's flagship software engineering services.
This achievement allows Railtown AI to work closely with Microsoft's 7,000 account executives to implement a global sales program, driving deeper collaboration and go-to-market momentum. The co-selling channels include direct customer engagement, partner-to-partner sales, and seller-engaged opportunities.
Cory Brandolini, co-founder and CEO of Railtown AI Technologies, emphasized the strategic decision to build the company's AI technology on top of Microsoft's Azure cloud and integrate with their flagship software engineering services.
In a statement, Brandolini said: "Railtown's AI technology along with Github Copilot complement each other, forming a perfect combination to solve [developers'] problem of spending approximately 40% of their time on non-productivity tasks like debugging."
Railtown AI's achievement of Microsoft Co-Sell Ready status brings significant advantages, such as showcasing products and services directly to customers, gaining visibility among sellers through the commercial marketplace, and leveraging Microsoft's brand and global presence to foster customer trust and reinforce relationships.
Marwan Haddad, co-founder and CTO of Railtown AI Technologies, expressed pride in reaching the Co-Sell Ready status, commenting: "This great milestone not only exemplifies our dedication to innovation but also signifies our commitment to delivering top-tier solutions to our customers."
To achieve Microsoft Co-Sell Ready status, Railtown AI had to meet various criteria, including maintaining an active Microsoft Partner Network membership, offering solutions that align with Microsoft's focus areas, and seamlessly integrating with Microsoft products. The company also needed market presence, customer references, robust sales and marketing capabilities, enrollment in the Partner Center, and activation of the co-sell motion.
Railtown AI's cloud-based Generative AI platform aims to assist software developers and Agile practitioners in saving time, improving productivity, reducing costs, and accelerating developer velocity. The AI technology is available on Microsoft's Azure Marketplace at a starting price of $15.99 per month.
