GlobalBlock Digital Asset Trading Ltd (TSX-V:BLOK, OTC:BLVDF) has announced the appointment of Jim O'Neill as chief financial officer and Gordon Chmilar as corporate secretary.
The company, which is working towards the completion of the sale of its digital asset broker business, said in a statement it believes that having a Canadian-based CFO with public company experience will be beneficial in identifying and acquiring a new business after the sale is completed.
O'Neill brings over 30 years of finance executive experience, while Chmilar is a corporate lawyer with 20 years of experience.
The company also expressed its gratitude to outgoing CFO Samad Wali for his contributions.
GlobalBlock Digital Asset Trading Limited is a publicly-traded holding company with a subsidiary that operates as a digital asset broker, providing brokerage services, trading platforms, and a mobile app.
