Alkane Resources Ltd (ASX:ALK) produced 70,253 ounces of gold for the 12 months ending June 30 at its Tomingley Gold Operations in Central West New South Wales, meeting the upper end of the company's updated FY2023 production guidance of 65,000 to 73,000 ounces.

The project south of the city of Dubbo has now met or exceeded guidance in every year of its operation.

Kainantu Resources Ltd (TSX-V:KRL) said it has appointed Martin Cooper as the company’s acting chief financial officer (CFO), with immediate effect.

The company noted that Cooper has over 35 years of experience in finance including over 20 years as Group CFO of various public companies listed on the Australian, UK and Norwegian stock exchanges. In addition, he spent one year as CEO of REC, a US$600 million revenue solar panel manufacturer.

Forte Minerals Corp has announced its intention to extend the exercise period of a total of 5,888,593 share purchase warrants, originally issued as part of a private placement completed in 2020, by twelve months. The original exercise period for 5,638,593 warrants expires on July 17, 2023, while the remaining 125,000 warrants had an exercise period until August 10, 2023. To provide enhanced flexibility to shareholders, the xompany has decided to extend the term of the warrants by one year. All other terms of the Warrants will remain the same. "We highly value the unwavering support and trust demonstrated by our long-time shareholders," said Patrick Elliott, Forte Minerals president and CEO. "By extending the exercise period of these warrants, we aim to provide our shareholders with an extended opportunity to benefit from the growth and the success of our Company." In addition, Forte Minerals announced the settlement of $120,000 in loans made on July 17, 2020 to two related parties and one arm's length party through the cancellation of an aggregate of 750,000 common shares and 375,000 warrants. The loans were due to mature on July 10, 2023. An additional $30,000 loan had been provided to CEO Elliott, as secured by 250,000 common shares and 125,000 warrants, which loan as expected to be repaid prior to maturity.

Valeo Pharma Inc has noted a news release issued by Novartis on June 30, 2023 that the Swiss pharma group has agreed to sell XIIDRA, a prescription eye drop solution indicated for the treatment of the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease, as well as several other ophthalmology products to Bausch + Lomb Corporation. Valeo entered into a seven-year Commercialization and Supply Agreement with Novartis Pharmaceuticals Canada Inc in July 2022 for the Canadian rights to XIIDRA and SIMBRINZA and its Ophthalmology business unit is engaged in commercial and medical activities for both products. SIMBRINZA is not part of the products that are being divested by Novartis. The sale is expected to close before the end of the year.

Aion Therapeutic Inc plans to raise up to $500,000 through a non-brokered private placement of up to 50 million units. Each unit will consist of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant, with each full warrant exercisable to acquire one share at $0.10 per warrant share. The company intends to utilize the proceeds for general working capital purposes, and the unit offering is anticipated to close by July 31, 2023.

Minto Metals Corp has received a cease trade order from the British Columbia Securities Commission due to the company's delay in filing its unaudited interim financial statements and related documents for the three-month period ending on March 31, 2023. The order will remain in effect until the company files the required interim financial statements.
