Cannabis producer TerrAscend Corp. (CSE:TER, OTCQX:TRSSF) has started trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
The company’s shares debuted on the Canadian exchange July 4 under the symbol TSND.
Mississauga-based TerrAscend is aiming to raise $20 million from the share sale, which it will use for ongoing expenses, it said recently.
Just prior to its TSX listing, TerrAscend announced it had purchased medical cannabis dispensary Herbiculture Inc, which operates a 3,100-square foot facility in Maryland, for US$8.25 million.
Maryland’s recreational cannabis market came into effect on July 1, 2023. Herbiculture will become TerrAscend’s fourth dispensary in the state.
Based in Toronto, TerrAscend has vertically integrated operations in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Michigan and California and retail operations in Canada. It operates The Apothecarium and Gage dispensary retail locations as well as scaled cultivation, processing, and manufacturing facilities in its core markets.
