Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F), Volkswagen Group (XETRA:VOW) and BMW AG (ETR:BMW) are some of the UK’s most popular second-hand cars.
Around 12,000 old Ford Fiestas are listed for sale, with the Volkswagen Golf following shortly behind with 10,000.
Vauxhall Corsa is also one of the most available second-hand cars, currently more than 8,000 are listed for sale in the UK.
Epsom is the busiest place in Britain for used cars with 550 cars for sale per 10,000 residents, research from undisclosed.co.uk.
Other cities with plenty of used vehicles include Preston, Peterborough, and Canterbury.
Last year, second-hand car sales slumped due to a shortage of cars coming into the market.
The number of used electric vehicles increased by 37.5% and hybrids jumped by 8.6%.
Financing for used cars has been an issue for drivers, with many resellers looking for cash in hand.
However, companies like S&U are finding ways to help drivers receive financing even if they can’t receive a loan from a traditional lender.
