Technology Minerals PLC (LSE:TM1) shares rose on Monday morning after the company announced ex-Porsche UK boss Andrew Goss is among two new advisor appointments at subsidiary Recyclus.
Alongside former Jaguar Land Rover project director Phil Hodgkinson, Goss will provide expertise to battery recycling firm Recyclus from early July, a statement said.
“To bring on board such high calibre, well-respected people within the industry is an endorsement of Recyclus' technology and growth strategy,” company chairman Robin Brundle said.
Recyclus is 48.25% owned by Technology Minerals, with the two companies focused on creating a circular economy for battery metals by finding ways to recycle resources such as lithium.
Goss is currently chairman at Vertu Motors (AIM:VTU), having worked in the boardrooms of Porsche AG (ETR:P911) and Jaguar Land Rover.
Hodgkinson retired from his role at Jaguar Land Rover in 2019 meanwhile, after leading the delivery of over one hundred of the company’s car programmes.
“Their elite sector knowledge and experience will prove invaluable as Recyclus embarks on the next phase of its development,” Brundle added.
Technology Mineral shares climbed 8.6% to 1.9p.
