Scottie Resources commences 2023 drill program on the Blueberry Contact Zone

Scottie Resources Corp. (TSX-V:SCOT) has announced the start of its 2023 drill program on the Blueberry Contact Zone, a high-grade gold target.

The zone is situated 2 kilometers north-northeast of Scottie's wholly-owned Scottie Gold Mine, a past-producing mine in British Columbia's Golden Triangle region.

In a statement, Brad Rourke, president and CEO of Scottie Resources, commented: "We are up and running, with three drills now turning on the Blueberry Contact Zone. Our 20,000-meter 2023 drill program is primarily focused on expansion of the structure, both at depth and along strike, following up on the exceptional results of last year's program.

"With a strong early start to the season, we expect to begin releasing results over the coming months and are excited to further define this high-grade, road-accessible gold system."

The Blueberry Contact Zone has shown promising historic trenching and channel sampling results, including 103.94 grams per tonne of gold over 1.43 meters and 203.75 grams per tonne of gold over 1.90 meters. Despite limited drilling in the area before Scottie's exploration work, the company's efforts in 2019 yielded significant progress.

The company intersected an interval with a grade of 7.44 grams per tonne of gold over 34.78 meters in a new splay-off zone of the main Blueberry Vein. Further drilling results from 2020 to 2023, combined with surficial mapping and sampling, suggest that this splay is a major mineralized structure, with the Blueberry Vein being a secondary structure.

Scottie Resources owns a 100% interest in the Scottie Gold Mine Property, which encompasses the Blueberry Zone and the past-producing Scottie Gold Mine. The company also holds 100% interest in the Georgia Project, the Cambria Project properties, and the Sulu property. In total, Scottie Resources holds approximately 60,000 hectares of mineral claims in the Stewart Mining Camp in the Golden Triangle.

The company's properties are strategically located in the highly mineralized Golden Triangle, known as one of the world's most productive mineral districts.
