NetScientific PLC (AIM:NSCI) has announced a successful £500,000 investment round for genetic analysis firm DName-iT Holdings.
The deep tech and life sciences VC investment group said EMV Capital, it's corporate finance and venture capital arm, led the fundraiser.
Continued growth of DName-iT, which has developed an innovative, scalable platform for laboratory specimen authentication and contamination identification, will be supported by this fresh investment.
As a frontrunner in the genetic analysis industry, DName-iT's technology proves crucial for the delivery of personalised medicine.
With this investment, DName-iT can fast-track industry pilots in Europe and the USA, while bolstering its software and team.
As a result of the funding, NetScientific, through its 75% stake in CetroMed, now holds a 36.9% stake in DName-iT.
