Touchstone Exploration Inc (AIM:TXP, TSX:TXP, OTC:PBEGF) told investors that construction work is progressing at the Cascadura field’s gas and liquids facility, where commissioning is expected to start in July.
The commissioning will involve both the Cascadura-1ST1 and Cascadura Deep-1 wells, it noted in a statement.
At the same time, Touchstone updated on the ongoing well test programme at the Royston field.
The second production test at Royston, assessing a set of the well’s secondary reservoir targets, has proved unsuccessful.
Touchstone said that three zones spanning 80 feet of gross reservoir interval all produced oil to surface at non-commercial rates and these zones have been deemed to be “low permeability reservoir” in this location. Further testing of those zones will not be conducted.
It added that the production testing programme will now move onto the primary reservoir targets, which span 106 feet of gross interval.
