BSF Enterprise CEO Dr. Che Connan joins Natalie Stoberman from the Proactive studios to discuss how the company is moving forward from its recent approval for the sale of cultivated meat in the United States.
Dr. Connan says this approval also generates interest in BSF's intellectual property related to tissue engineering, particularly for cultured meat. He explains cultivated or cultured meat is produced in laboratories without harming animals while BSF's products closely resemble natural meat in appearance, smell, taste, and texture.
BSF is focused on unlocking the next generation of biotechnological solutions by using cell-based tissue engineering to help generate cultured meat, lab-grown leather, as well as human corneas, collagen growth and skin substitutes, as part of a radical transformation to deliver sustainable solutions across a variety of sectors.
