Infinity Stone Ventures Corp (CSE:GEMS, OTC:GEMSF) has received approval to cross-list its shares on Upstream, a trading app for digital securities and NFTs, the company announced.
Upstream is powered by Horizon Fintex and MERJ Exchange Limited. Infinity Stone is expected to begin trading on the app starting July 6 under the ticker symbol 'GEMS'. The Upstream market is open Monday to Friday from 1 am to 9 pm ET.
The cross-listing is designed to give Infinity Stone access to a global, digital-first investor base outside the US that can trade using USDC digital currency along with credit, debit, PayPal, and USD, the company said. That unlocks liquidity and enhances price discovery while globalizing the company’s potential investor base.
Investors outside the US can download Upstream, create an account and complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) identity verification. Existing international shareholders will be able to transfer their shares to the app.
On listing day, Upstream participants will be eligible to claim a free NFT memorializing the cross listing, the company said.
"Today marks a significant milestone for Infinity Stone Ventures as we expand our reach to a global, digital-first investor base with our cross listing on Upstream," CEO Zayn Kalyan, said in a statement.
"This innovative listing embodies our commitment to democratize access to our shares, enhancing liquidity and price discovery, while giving our investors the ability to trade using various options including USDC digital currency, credit, debit, PayPal and USD. We are big supporters of the team at Upstream and are excited to be one of their first Canadian listings.”
