Canada Silver Cobalt Works Inc (TSX-V:CCW, OTCQB:CCWOF) said it will be conducting an airborne Multi-Parameter Airborne Survey System (M-PASS) over large sections of its Castle Mine silver project in Northern Ontario.
The survey, developed by geoscientists and data scientists at ALS GoldSpot Discoveries, includes a range of advanced technologies such as a triaxial magnetic gradient magnetic/VLF platform, a 2048 channel radiometric sensor, high-precision LiDAR sensor, and high-resolution cameras capable of producing four-band imagery.
It will be conducted in the week of June 25th and will cover about 32.8 square kilometers around Castle Mine, encompassing all of the company’s property.
"This is an important step for the company as it will provide the additional data we need for high-quality AI and machine-learning drill targeting at the Castle property to complement the high-grade silver-cobalt vein discoveries we have already made there," said the company’s CEO Matt Halliday in a statement.
“The Castle property has a rich database of drilling, geophysics and geochemistry accumulated over many years of past mining activity and more recent trenching and drilling of over 60,000 meters (m). With the added M-PASS survey over the Canada Silver Cobalt Works claims in the Miller Lake Basin, we will add the missing component to complete high-quality machine learning targeting.”
Canada Silver Cobalt Works recently discovered a major high-grade silver vein system at Castle East located 1.5 km from its 100%-owned, past-producing Castle Mine near Gowganda in the prolific and world-class silver-cobalt mining district of Northern Ontario. The company has completed a 60,000 m drill program aimed at expanding the size of the deposit with an update to the resource estimate underway.
