Tonix Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:TNXP) CEO Seth Lederman joins Natalie Stoberman from the Proactive studios to discuss the acquisition of two migraine products from Upsher-Smith Laboratories.
Lederman says Tonix is acquiring Zembrace SymTouch 3 mg and Tosymra 10 mg. He explains that for adults needing acute treatment of migraine, Zembrace SymTouch and Tosymra have the potential to be first-line treatments or ‘rescue’ medications for breakthrough migraines due to their fast onset of action and high pain-relief rates. Lederman adds that this strategic move aligns with plans to develop a commercial organization for the company's Fibromyalgia program.
