Australian Potash thanks director Brett Lambert for his insight and guidance

Australian Potash Ltd (ASX:APC) has thanked director Brett Lambert for his contributions to the company and board since being appointed six years ago.

This comes as Lambert tendered his resignation as a director effective from today’s date and is a result of him reducing his board positions to focus on non-work related activities.

Lambert has been a member of the board since May 2017, providing insight and guidance through the study and early works programs at the Lake Wells Sulphate of Potash project (LSOP), as well as chairing the Audit Committee during his tenure.

“Genuine and deep respect”

APC’s managing director and CEO Matt Shackleton said: “There is genuine and deep respect for Brett’s contributions to the board over the past six years, as both a non-executive director and chair of the audit subcommittee.

"The company had only recently released the scoping study into the LSOP project when Brett joined, and I and all of our team valued his experienced guidance as we took the project to a high-quality shovel-ready potash development.”

CFO resignation

Australian Potash has also thanked chief financial officer Patrick Leung for his contribution to the company and the LSOP.

Leung, who joined the management team in September 2022, has tendered his resignation as CFO effective as of the close of business on June 30, 2023.

In a statement, APC said that Leung’s “contribution to the LSOP and the company over his tenure is appreciated.

“The board and management team wish him every success with his future endeavours.”
